Hot Cross Buns - Friday 22.4.11


MeWally sat out in the mock trop as I pottered inside making hot cross buns. A warm evening, simple music, a slug of wine and a recipe are all you need to get started.


I followed the instructions - basically bread dough, spices, sugar and dried fruit. I added MACE as it tastes like EASTER to me, but apart from that I stuck to the recipe.


Here they are then, glaze still warm and dripping, a pile of STICKY BUNS.

They were YUMMY!
