It is possible to keep chilli plants going for 2 or 3 years. In my case, this one was getting pretty tired, so it had to 'go'.
Although the chillis can be picked and stored - dried, in oil, the freezer, as a paste ...... But, for me, this simple storage system is attractive, practical and quite festive....... no I didn't use the 'C' word, I used FESTIVE!!
Although stringing peppers is an attractive way to display and store our hot little friends, why not go for something easier and very pretty?
